Welcome, here is a little about myself. I am a graduate of the UPPER IOWA UNIVERSITY FIGHTING PEACOCKS. I
am also married, my wife Katie is also a teacher at Dike-New Hartford. The classes that I teach include 8th grade Social
Studies, American History, and World History. This is my second year teaching, last year I spent the year at Fort
Dodge St. Edmond teaching 8th grade Social Studies. The reason that I chose to teach this particular subject is, I have
always had a interest in why we are the way we are today, and also how we got to this point.
My duties do not only include teaching, I am also the Head Girls Basketball Coach and Junior High Football. This
will be my 7th year coaching Basketball, and my first at Clarksville. My previous experience includes 3 yrs as a Student
Assistant at Upper Iowa University in the Womens Basketball program, 2 years as the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach
at Ballard(Huxley) Community Schools, and 1 year as an Assistant Boys Coach at St. Edmond in Fort Dodge.
In my spare time I enjoy to golf as mush as I can, in the summer, that usually means about 6 rounds a week.
Also I am a very passionate Notre Dame Football and Indiana Basketball fan.
